Samara L. Stern, Owner
LMT License #6062, Massage Therapist, Usui Reiki Master, Fertility Healing
I was born in New York City and moved to Charleston in 2003. I began studying Energy healing work in 2001. After moving to Charleston I enrolled in The Charleston School of Massage, graduated in 2008, and became a licensed massage therapist. While at Charleston School of Massage, I also completed the Healing Arts Program, where I learned Hot Stone Massage and added to my knowledge of Aromatherapy. In 2007 I began my Reiki Training and am now a Usui Reiki Master Practitioner.
Energy healing has always been a passion for me. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity and privilege to open a community healing center here in Charleston, where people can come to explore, heal, learn, and grow.
I'd like to thank everyone who helped bring this dream to fruition. I look forward to meeting and working with members of the community and having you become part of ours.

David R. Stowers
LMT License #4686, Tuina
David moved to the Charleston area in 1992 and is a graduate of the College of Charleston with bachelor degrees in Biology and Philosophy. He graduated from the Charleston School of Massage where he now teaches since receiving his certification in 2006.
Having studied at the Beijing Olympic Training Center in China in 2006 David integrates the philosophy and practice of Tuina* in every session concentrating his efforts to open the body’s defensive chi to get energy moving in both the meridians and muscles
* Tui Na is translated as “push-grasp” in Chinese. After answering some brief questions about the nature and location of the general health and existing conditions, the practitioner will concentrate on specific acupressure points, energy trigger points, muscles and joints surrounding the affected area. The practitioner, by pressing, tapping, and kneading with palms, fingertips, knuckles or elbows, helps the body to remove blockages along the meridians and stimulates the flow of chi and blood to promote healing, similar to principles of acupuncture and acupressure. The practitioner can then use range of motion, traction, massage, with the stimulation of accupressure points and to treat both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal conditions. Tui na's massage-like techniques range from light stroking to deep-tissue work which would be considered too vigorous or too painful for a recreational or relaxing massage.

Alice M. Stern, LMSW
Usui Reiki Master
Energy Healing Drumming
Crystal and Stone Healing Therapy
In the last six years I feel I have learned more than any other time in my life. I have been enriched with meeting powerful, spiritual, and genuine women who want to give back to one another and society.
For me, learning Reiki has not only inspired me but has been like a new friend that is with me always. My love of stones and crystals throughout my life has inspired me to learn more and to get my certificate in crystal and stone healing. Drumming is a new venue for me and I am learning more everyday. The ability to use the drum to follow my inner rhythms and to “Dance with the Gods “ has opened up a whole new way to communicate with myself and others.
I studied at the Infinite Light Healing Studies Center in Sedona, AZ where I received my Usui Reiki I and II certificates, along with a certificate in Crystal and Stone Healing and Reiki Drumming. I received my Usui Reiki Master Level Certificate in 2008.
My goal is to help guide women and children to become the best that they can be, to help women find their voice through drumming, and to use multiple modalities to strengthen and support each individual on their healing journey.
